PRIVACY STATEMENT
We are aware of the EU Court of Justice ruling of 16 July 2020 with implications for the transfer of personal data outside the EU. We have therefore transferred the contract with our US mailing list provider to a European mailing list provider.
Privacy Statement Plein Publique September 2020
When you visit our website, social media pages and other contact, we collect personal data such as IP address and further what you enter and disclose yourself. We set a cookie and use Google analytics to understand who our visitors are and how they come to the website. From our newsletters, we record interactions, with the aim of making the content of our communication even more relevant. For orders, we collect the data needed to complete the order, comply with our legal administration obligations and for marketing activities.
In all cases, we collect and store only the minimum amount of data we need to process orders, comply with the administration obligation, make the website work properly and securely, and carry out our marketing activities (you know, those fun offers :-) ).
The exchange and storage of the data is secure, and we are properly educated, so that data is for our own use only. We will never give or sell it to others. We solemnly promise that!
However, (some of) your data is (also) stored with the providers that provide our digital services, of course we can't get around that. For example, web shop and email data are with our web hoster, financial records are with our accountant, data on website visits are with Google, data on visits to our Facebook and Instagram page are with Facebook (dûh ;-) and data relating to newsletters are with our newsletter provider.
We use the soft-opt in for the newsletter where you are signed up for the newsletter after placing an order (of course, you can also sign up for the newsletter without an order...). There is always a link at the bottom of every newsletter to unsubscribe quickly and easily (but then you miss out....).
Would you like us to delete your personal data? Of course you can, except for the data we legally have to keep in our administration after a purchase.
Also, if you want to know what personal data we hold on you, or have any other question, send a message to hello[@]pleinpublique.com and you will hear from us soon!
Chrs!
