About Us
Plein Publique is a Dutch women's fashion brand known for timeless, stylish clothing. It is known for its merino wool knitwear, Breton stripes, and comfortable, high-quality wardrobe staples.
So, who are we? Glad you asked!
To be honest, we’re not quite sure ourselves yet, haha. What we do know is that we have a huge passion for what we do. We’re born optimists and love the beautiful things in life. And, of course, we love classics and wardrobe essentials: you’ll find plenty of Breton stripes and other items that never go out of style.

Creative Director & Founder.
That’s me. Right there in the middle. Mom of three beautiful children and an entrepreneur. I love working out, healthy and delicious food, and of course, a glass of wine. (To be honest, I started working out more so I could keep enjoying my wine… ;-)) . In addition to everything else that goes into running a business, I also try on all the newly arrived samples. Just so you know, I’m 173cm tall, usually wear a size L/40, and am a D cup.
KIM VAN KLAVEREN

We at PLEIN PUBLIQUE have known for a while now that Kim (L) and I are a great match, but it was time to make it official. We’ve been working together for over three years and share the same vision: things have to be good, and have to become even better 😜. Together, we’re making PLEIN PUBLIQUE better and bigger every day. Kim is the ultimate sounding board and handles the photography with tremendous talent. So it was time to sign on the dotted line —because Kim is now a partner at PLEIN PUBLIQUE 🎉 Hurray!

Marketing and Brand Relations
Kim and I have lots of ideas—an awful lot of ideas—and of course, they all need to be streamlined and funneled into something we can work with. After all, those ideas need to become campaigns. That’s quite a task. Our amazing marketing whiz Anne is always up to the task. Or, to put it another way... Anne is the reason everyone actually gets any work done 😅

Lonneke works behind the scenes in customer service and helps with the purchasing. She takes a lot of work off our hands, so she’s not allowed to go on vacation ;-).

Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist
Every month, we photograph new items from the collection, and every month, Kelly (L) is there to help. As an all-around makeup artist and hairstylist, she always does a beautiful job with the models’ makeup and makes sure their hair stays in place. Kelly also did the makeup and hair for the team’s photo shoot. Look at how good we look!
NIKKY DRIESSEN
PR & SOCIAL MEDIA
Everything in style? Everything beautiful and always brought with enthousiasm? Nikky doesn’t know the word “no.” She’s been managing our social media for a while now and is in touch with all the PR people around us. And we’re immensely happy with that!
